Hydrostatic Pressure Requires a Drain Tile System

Many believe just sealing the leaking basement is enough to control the basement water leakage problems. This can create more hydrostatic pressure, which sometimes will cause a buckled wall or pushed up floor.

This hydrostatic pressure problem can be solved with an under the floor drain tile system / French drain system, which relieves the hydrostatic pressure by controlling the water seepage to a basement sump pump and discharging the water away from the now, dry basement.
