Materials and Construction for Earth and Water

The intrusion of unwanted water into pavement through surface cracks is the major source of deterioration in paved roadways. When constructing or repaving highways, roads, airport runways, and parking areas, the inclusion of a paving fabric between the tack coat and the new asphalt layer produces an effective moisture barrier. This protects the sub-base from deterioration by penetration of surface water, and increases pavement life by retarding reflective cracking.

Straighten Basement Walls

Wall Braces that will actually push the wall back straight again. Using three floor joists to push from eliminates the stress and twist caused by other wall brace systems. Wall braces have been used for hundreds of years, but they only held the bowing wall, not straighten it, as the Gorilla™ Wall Braces will do. It is a unique system that just keeps applying pressure to the wall braces until the bowing wall pushes straight.

Some people like wall braces, while others like wall anchors. We offer both so all the buckling walls in most situations can be straightened. In some situations the only solution is anchors to straighten the walls and in other situations the solution is to use braces to straighten the bowing walls. We are now equipped to handle either wall braces or wall anchors and do a complete and through job. For a secure home, use Gorilla™ wall braces to straighten your buckling and bowing basement walls.

Surface Drain Tile Eliminates Excessive Water

Surface tile is necessary, in preventing a leaky basement, when good landscaping cannot be done - such as, the building is too deep into the ground or there is a hill sloped into the building causing basement water leakage.

The drainage system is designed to capture the water that would collect along the building and drain it away, instead of it soaking into the ground causing a leaking basement and expanding soil, which pushes in the basement walls, causing buckling and bowing walls. It is a decorative addition to the home as well as a drainage system, solving the excessive water landscaping problem. An ounce of prevention, preventing the leaky basement and pushed in walls is worth the investment.

Hydrostatic Pressure Requires a Drain Tile System

Many believe just sealing the leaking basement is enough to control the basement water leakage problems. This can create more hydrostatic pressure, which sometimes will cause a buckled wall or pushed up floor.

This hydrostatic pressure problem can be solved with an under the floor drain tile system / French drain system, which relieves the hydrostatic pressure by controlling the water seepage to a basement sump pump and discharging the water away from the now, dry basement.

Basement Wall Leaking Problems

Many people believe there is no basement water control system that offers a permanent solution for wet basements, caused from basement water seepage, cracks leaking, leaking foundation, hydrostatic pressure and basement windows leaking. After over 40 years of service we can honestly say a permanent solution is readily available for your wet basement.

The DRY UP baseboard system is designed to capture and control basement leakage, that comes in from where the floor and wall meet, along poured basement walls, stone walls and concrete block walls that have holes drilled in the bottom blocks.
